Arrived at 10.30 last night after taking a scenic route to the campsite, put the tent up by headtorch light, and enjoyed a bracing night's sleep on the north coast.
Woke up to beautiful views and less beautiful rain. After a hot shower and a brew in the excellent Blue Door 59°N cafe, we're ready to hit the road.
First leg Thurso-Thurso via John O'Groats.
Good to see the Paramo in action and enjoy the cultural delights of John O'Groats. I think you can also visit the nuclear power plant visitor centre if you get bored.
